Welcome to our brand new Construction Leads tool - designed to help service accommodation customers find projects and identify companies that require travel accommodation for their workforce. This powerful tool drives lead generation, increases revenue, and helps boost occupancy rates effortlessly.

The interface is based on our existing sourcing UI, making it familiar for current users while remaining intuitive for newcomers.

Getting Started

Step 1: Location Selection

The foundation of any search begins with location selection. You have multiple options:

Search Methods:

  • Town/City/Village: Enter specific locations (e.g., "Glasgow")

  • Outcode: Use postal codes (e.g., "G12")

  • Postcode: Full postal codes

  • Custom Area: Draw your own search boundary (recommended)

How to Set Location:

  1. Click the location search area at the top

  2. Enter your desired location or outcode

  3. Click "Include" to add to your search area

  4. For custom areas: Draw a square or polygon on the map

  5. Click "Confirm Area" to finalise

Pro Tip: Drawing custom areas gives you the most precise control over your search parameters.

Step 2: Filter Configuration

Once your location is set, you'll see initial results. Now it's time to refine with filters.

Preset Strategies:

  • Use our pre-configured filter sets for quick setup

  • Click to apply and remove as needed

  • More strategies will be added over time

Search Type Selection:

Choose between two main approaches:

  • Find Projects: Filters by projects in your area, then shows companies working on those projects

  • Find Companies: Shows all companies working in your selected area, then allows filtering

Note: Both approaches lead to similar results but offer different starting points for your search.

Advanced Filtering

Essential Filters for Lead Generation

Project Value:

  • Set minimum value to £1,000,000 (recommended)

  • Projects below this threshold typically don't require significant accommodation

Build Phase:

  • Exclude completed projects

  • Focus on active construction phases

Distance Filtering:

  • Set minimum distance from projects to 75+ miles

  • This identifies companies that will need accommodation

  • Adjust based on your market understanding

Additional Filter Options

Project Specifications:

  • Plan area, floor area, site area

  • Number of stories (above/below ground)

  • Number of units

  • Parking spaces

Timeline Filters:

  • Last announced date

  • Updated project timeline

  • Project stage

Construction Categories:

  • Civil engineering

  • Transport

  • Sports facilities

  • Hotels

  • And many more specialized categories

Analyzing Results

Project Investigation

Viewing Project Details:

  1. Click "Show Companies" on any project

  2. View companies ordered by distance

  3. Map updates to show company locations

Project Information Available:

  • All companies working on the project

  • Planning application links

  • Project value and specifications

  • Floor area and other details

  • Timeline information

Company Analysis

Company Profile Features:

  • Contact information (mobile, email when available)

  • All projects the company is working on

  • Distance from each project

  • Interactive map showing headquarters and project locations

Company Actions:

  • Save to watchlist

  • Access LinkedIn profile

  • Visit company website

  • Call main office directly

Travel Time Analysis:

  • Click "Driving" on the map

  • View travel times between companies and projects

  • Quickly identify accommodation needs

Advanced Features

Data Export and Management

CSV Export:

  • Download all search results

  • Perfect for cold calling campaigns

  • Ideal for email marketing lists

  • Includes all relevant contact information

Map Management:

  • Reset map view using "Hide Companies" or reset button

  • Toggle between different map layers

  • Zoom and pan for detailed analysis

Saved Searches and Watchlists

Saving Searches:

  1. Configure your filters

  2. Click "Save Filters"

  3. Access saved searches from the main interface

  4. Apply or delete saved searches as needed

Watchlist Management:

  • Add projects to your watchlist (yellow highlighting)

  • Persistent across sessions

  • Quick access to favorite projects

  • Monitor specific projects over time

Best Practices

Recommended Starting Configuration

For immediate results, use these settings:

  1. Project Value: £1,000,000 minimum

  2. Build Phase: Exclude completed projects

  3. Distance: 75+ miles from project location

  4. Location: Your target service area
