Guide on how to connect your Smoobu account

When you link your Smoobu account, you gain the ability to seamlessly import all your booking and blocking information. This data undergoes daily updates, ensuring your account remains current. Additionally, by connecting dynamic pricing, you can automate your pricing strategy using daily, data-driven insights for an optimized and efficient approach to managing your listings for up to 365 days in the future.

Connect to Smoobu

Step 1

Head to Settings within your Smoobu account and scroll to the bottom of the page where it says 'For Developers'.

Step 2

If still within your Smoobu trial, you will need to submit a support ticket to access your API key, Smoobu has great support and will provide this to you normally within an hour or so. If you are past your trial you will be able to generate and copy your API key under the 'API Keys' section.

Step 3

Click to copy the key then head to your PropertyMarketIntel account and click the "Add Integration" button on your Portfolio or Dynamic pricing dashboard. Select Smoobu from the menu, paste in your API key, and click "Connect". Watch the video below

That's it! You should now see your Smoobu listings on your PropertyMarketIntel dashboard. Head over to our Getting Started Guide or join one of our live onboarding training sessions during office hours to get a good overview of the system, and start reviewing prices. When you're happy with the rates on your calendar you can toggle the sync switches on for your listings and press the Sync Now button (at the account, group or listing level) or wait for our regular nightly sync.

Availability and Pricing Errors in Smoobu

There must be a year's worth of future pricing and availability shown in Smoobu in order for PropertyMarketInte; to sync prices to your listing successfully. If you are getting errors from PropertyMarketIntel that your listing does not have pricing and/or availability, please check that the pricing calendar in Smoobu appears like the one highlighted below, with a rate in the line for the standard price and not the portal-adjusted prices. Once the two rows have pricing and stay requirements filled in, come back to PropertyMarketIntel and click "Sync" on your pricing calendar. Please submit a support ticket if your listing does have all that information and you are still seeing that error.
